One must understand that protecting a compass from non-use sun radiation is paramount in making it last a long time without needed maintenance. This cover fits my compass perfectly and protects it not only from the sun but other weather conditions. It fits securely to the point where the wind cannot blow it off.
I recommend this for the properly fitted size compass completely.
