Well made and durable
I bought this to replace a Jim Buoy which failed when the metal anchor loop wore through in fresh water after only 3 years. My only complaint with this Taylor Made buoy is that I had to smooth out the sharp edge inside of the attachment hole so that it wouldn't abrade through the anchor line.

Perfect buoy for my chains!
Perfect for my floating dock (raft) chains! Hopefully they work good in ice. They look great in the water. Way better than the 10 empty 5-gallon jugs I've used for years!

Large sized stick buoy floating heavy chain
The larger unit seems to be floating my 3/8" chain (15' deep) adequately. This will be our first season and I'll be interested to see how it performs in ice.
