Rain water in boat fuel tank
I had left my boat fuel fill cap open by mistake and experienced a 2” rainfall overnight with the cap open. I have a 50 gallon thank. I envisioned 2 inches of water on the bottom of the tank the next day!
A boating friend mentioned water sorb to help… and I quickly ordered it up and poured it in my tank. I have no proof if water entered my tank or not ( but I think maybe it did). I think the Water Zorb may have saved me. My boat started right up and had no issues !

Does it harm rubber in engines?
The label does not say anything about harming rubber in engines. It does say you can use it regularly in your tank.
It does say it contains petroleum distillates.
