- How it Works:
- Simply slide the flanged end of the thru-hull over the tool
- Tie a length of monofilament line to the eye and thread it through the hole in the hull and through the thru-hull lock nut or seacock
- Caulk the flange of the fitting, then pull it tight to the hull and screw the thru-hull to the fitting

Tip broke on first use
The tool is cast aluminum, which is not really strong enough in my opinion. The top part is very thin and has a hole for the eyebolt leaving very little aluminum. mine broke on the first use. Too bad they don't make a bronze tool for the smaller sizes and an aluminum tool for the larger.

Must have tool installing thru hulls
Excellent when installing fitting with no room to rotate inside the vessel. Cross hole allows a screwdriver to help tight thru hull from outside or hole in place to rotate outside.
