All control panels are specially designed for use with the complete range of MAX POWER tunnel and retractable thrusters. Fitted using a simple hole saw cut-out, panels are easy to install and benefit from a simple and easily replaceable weatherproof clip-on cover. Max Power bow thruster control buttons
The original unit on my boat was 15 years old. One of the contacts was not working so I replaced the unit. Easy install.

Poor durability
Mine replaced the same one that came with my Oceanis. It failed the same way as the first one. The port button gave out and sticks on. I only used the new one about 10 times and it failed.

Delivered Maxpower Control Panel was wired wrong
The Maxpower Thruster Control Panel arrived promply, and my son brought it to the boat in Australia. To our surprise, the wiring harness to the connector was totally wrong installed on the delivered item. The color coded wires were inserted into the connector at random. luckily it did not damage the thruster itself. Rewired the connector and it works fine. Please check the Defender inventory for other miss-wired assemblies. Poor quality control. Photographs can be sent if requested.
