The Honda BF 8 and 9.9 horsepower engines utilize our single-overhead-cam design for outstanding power. A programmed ignition system with autostart enrichment gives you fast, easy startup and warm-up. And reverse exhaust relief creates more power in reverse by minimizing cavitation around the propeller blades.

Some of the big motor features include a 12-amp alternator on electric start models that puts out 6 amps at only 1000 rpm to keep the battery charged. A four-blade propeller provides extra "Bite" .An auto-starting enrichment system ensures easy starting every time.

The BF8 and BF9.9 run so cleanly, they have already met the (EPA) standards for the year 2006 and California air resources board (CARB) standards for 2008!
