· A specially designed cooling system keeps the 3.0L Saltwater OptiMax engine block running at ideal
temperatures for durability and reliability.
· These models feature the 60-amp/756 watt belt-driven alternator system which provides charging "on-demand"
for the ultimate in efficiency and charging performance.
· These models feature dual low water pickups to ensure a steady flow of cooling water regardless
of operating conditions.
· Each model features Mercury's exclusive 2+1 OptiMax warranty plus 3-years of limited corrosion warranty.
· DTS enhances acceleration by constantly managing fuel flow, spark timing and airflow. Also, the
throttle lever becomes a thrust/brake lever, optimizing drivetrain efficiency.
· The feel of the DTS throttle can be tuned for individual preferences.
· Engine and transmission controls work together to determine when and how quickly the transmission
will shift. This helps protect the drivetrain from damage  especially during high-rpm shifting.
· In dual engine applications, an automatic synchronizer is built in, eliminating the need to manage
independent engine rpm.
