MERCURY 250 HP EFI  OUTBOARD ENGINES |
 With the hot 250hp bass boat segment
growing, Mercury has answered the need for a 250hp EFI engine.
This 20-inch powerhouse will feature big-bore displacement (185 CID) with a powerful holeshot and strong top end.
With a 1.75:1 gear ratio and a gearcase built for the bass boat, the 3.0L 250 EFI will be a 250 to contend with.
The 3.0L 250 EFI is the newest member of the powerful lineup of 3.0L EFI Bass engines built by Mercury. In February
2003, the 3.0L 200 EFI debuted and has received outstanding acclaim by key bass boat builders and customers who
have experienced its angry growl and tough d isposition.
The new 3.0L 250 EFI will be SmartCraft-ready.
It will also feature the same 60-amp/756 watt belt-driven alternator used by the OptiMax family of engines, for outstanding charging capabilities.
Turnkey starting and lightning quick throttle response, trademarks of Mercury EFI engines, will also highlight
this new 250hp offering.
The 3.0L 250 EFI is available in 20" shaft lengths only.
