MARINE INSIDE SALES
Boating & sales experience with excellent Customer service, communications, & computer skills helping fellow Boaters in our busy Call Center. Responsible for providing quality and efficient Customer Service.
Knowledge of boating systems & products a must. Individual must multi-task readily, & thrive in a busy inbound call center environment. Must have a minimum of one year Call Center experience with independent decision making abilities. Full or part time - flexible schedule with potential for cross training in Outlet Store.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers through a variety of means—by telephone; e-mail, fax, and regular mail, or in person in a friendly, helpful, timely & professional manner.
- Answer, transfer, take messages, page and make phone calls as necessary.
- Aid customers in completing purchases or transactions with a high degree of accuracy & attention to details.
- Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services and to handle and resolve complaints.
- Knowledge of boats, excellent communications, and listening skills are especially important.
- Comfortable / proficient in computerized order entry systems and windows-based programs.
- Desire to exceed the service expectations of our customers.
- Follow-up with Suppliers to resolve customer issues.
- Build and develop relationships with others throughout the company in order to implement solutions, which improve service, effectiveness, and results.
- Assist in other departments, as needed.
- Up-selling/Cross-selling
- Process Catalog requests
- Work with Purchasing Department to fulfill special order requests
- Accurate and expeditious computerized order entry (catalog merchandise, custom/special orders outfitting needs).
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Practical boating knowledge & experience

- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Team player also able to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Outlook & Word - Excel a plus
Physical Requirements:
Work in a fast paced inbound call center / outlet store environment.
Prolonged periods spent sitting, on the phone, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Mobility required throughout the facility.
May be required to lift between 20 to 30 pounds.
Temperature ranges from 55 to ambient.
