Wouldn’t fill
After I received the tank, I took it to the hardware store to fill and they couldn’t get any propane into it. Took it somewhere else too. No luck, it seems the valve was blocked inside. Had to return it, which involved a bunch of phone calls with Trident to explain what happened. It’s harder to return a propane tank than most things.

need purging before filling
perfect replacement. However, be aware these need purging before they can be filled. This is a bit of a pain to find someone to do it (or to do yourself)

Defective propane tank
The tank is inoperable have not been able to use the tank yet. It was extremely difficult to fill and once installed would not let any gas to the appliance. I called customer service, and they referred me to Trident. Trident was unable to resolve the problem. I now have a defective, cylinder that is full of propane that I cannot send back. Please help me out!

Sticky valve on new tank
Valve stuck on new tank, Trident told me how to fix it my pushing a stick into the valve until a short burst of air (or propane) is released. After that the valve worked (but I haven’t tested it over many months)
