Manson Supreme Anchor - Stainless Steel

Manson is proud to announce the future of anchor technology, The Manson Supreme. The design brief given was to create the highest holding - fastest setting - fixed shank anchor in the world. A bonus design feature developed was a dual operation shank to enable use in rock and coral seabed types. The anchor has been closely reviewed by Lloyds Register of Shipping and it received a SHHP (Super High Holding Power) status. The first production boat anchor in the world to do so.

Features:

• Unique dual shank removes the need for a buoyed retrieval line which can tangle and be a hassle to set up.
• Roll bar ensures the correct setting angles are always achieved to ensure immediate setting.
• New high tensile steels and construction by leading certified welders mean that you can count on the quality of your product, it hasn't been made in a general engineering shop, it's been made by a company solely dedicated to making anchors.
• Spear Head design means that weeds aren't a problem for the Supreme, it thrives in the toughest of anchoring environments where others fail.

Construction:

• Dual Shank
  • Dual shank anchoring configuration enables different slots to be used for different ground conditions. Using the rockslot, should the anchor become snagged, the shackle can simply slide to the front of the anchor where the traditional trip line was located and pull free. The rockslot feature makes the anchor ideal for anchoring in rock or coral conditions. Using the sandslot the anchor will remain buried even with major wind shifts. The sandslot is ideal for all sand, mud, weed and grass conditions. The sandslot is also the recommended attachment for anchoring in extreme wind conditions.
  • Built from High Tensile Steel for extreme strength under load. Bisalloy 80 is 780mPa vs Mild Steel 260mPa ensuring far greater shank resistance to deformation.
• Fluke
  • Reinforced Double Skinned Laminated toe. Provides an extremely strong forward section of the anchor where the most loading is concentrated.
  • Sharpened Spear Head. This feature ensures great penetration into the seabed.
  • Using high tensile Bisalloy80 steel in the anchors, Manson has proven to be not only the highest holding but are officially the strongest anchor available.
  • In destruction tests, Manson held 25% higher than any other anchor available in New Zealand.
