• Extensive use of switch-mode technology has resulted in a line of powerful, light-weight, high performance and efficient battery chargers for every on-board application
• The four stage charging curve (bulk, absorption, float and power supply) provides optimal performance and ensures proper care and charging of both wet and gel cell batteries
• There is virtually no battery produced that cannot be charged effectively and efficiently by the new MDP Electronics II range

Four Stage Charging Curve:

1. Bulk Stage: A high current is sent to the battery until it reaches approximately 80% of full charge.
2. Absorption Stage: Voltage level is maintained & the current reduced until battery is 100% charged.
3. Float Stage: Voltage & current reduced to maintain battery. Float gives what the battery requires.
4. Power Supply: Charger "keeps up" with loads applied to the battery while it's attached to AC power.

Battery Type Selection :

MDP Electronics chargers are fitted with Battery Type Selection Switches that modify the charger's output to suit your battery bank. Switches settings are available for Gel, Flooded Lead/Acid, AGM, Calcuim-lead, DELPHI, OPTIMA batteries, as well as switches for winterizing, Sulphation recovery, and Power supply.
