    Description
     

    Outfit your backstay
    To serve as an ssb or ham radio antenna. These independently insulated terminals are housed in an anodized aluminum body with black Delrin® spacers for greater UV protection. Their slender bodies have excellent strength-to-weight ratios (less weight aloft). They can handle well in excess of the authorized radio power input from 1-30 mhz. Swage end fittings are made from type 316 stainless steel. Note: backstay insulators generally have a shorter lifespan than other rigging components and should be checked regularly.
