When temperatures rise above optimal levels, it reduces field current to prevent overheating and signals a warning light for added safety. Easy to install with sealed sensor lugs and a 54" cable.

Description
This Optional Alternator Temperature Sensor (MC-TS-A) enables your Balmar Max Charge or ARS-5Vage regulator to monitor ambient temperature at the alternator and automatically reduce field current output if the alternator exceeds optimal operating temperature. The regulator will also activate the Dash Lamp terminal if an over-temperature condition is indicated.

- The Sensor adjusts voltage to help initiate efficient charging when the alternator is above the optimal working temperature (229° F)
- Cable includes solid state sensors sealed in heavy duty lugs for easy installation
