Whale has been a key player in the marine industry for over 90 years with company origins dating back over 200 years to 1810. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of water and waste management systems including manual and electric freshwater, bilge and waste pumps, Quick Connect plumbing systems, faucets, showers and accessories.

Whale is the expert in manual bilge pumps with products including the iconic Gusher 10 and has continued to cement its reputation in the electric market with innovations such as the market leading Gulper non-clog waste pumps. Over the past decade, Whale has forged the way for innovation in the marine industry with the introduction of the unique Twist Deck Shower, award winning Supersub Smart low profile automatic bilge pump and the IC range of complete water management systems. In 2010, Whale was awarded the IBEX award for the Gulley IC system and a special mention at the DAME award for all IC systems.

In the 1990’s the company expanded their international distributor network, in particular establishing a USA subsidiary, and now has a worldwide distribution to retail network. Whale is an ISO certified company and in 2011 was awarded the globally recognized Northern Ireland Quality award for excellence in quality.
