Paul has been around boats just about all his life and has made his living in the marine industry starting with his first job at a marina.
Prior to joining Defender, Paul worked as both a service manager and a parts manager at boatyards and marinas along the Connecticut shoreline and the Connecticut River.
All those years of hands-on experience have made him a good resource at Defender for customers looking for products related to do-it-yourself projects. He said he is most comfortable talking with customers about repair work, resins, paints and related products.
"We’re able to give customers a range of options for their projects," Paul said, referring to the wide variety of products at the Defender Warehouse Store where he is a Sales Associate.
"We get all kinds of boaters here so we have to be prepared for all kinds of questions, and we get a lot of do-it-yourselfers," Paul said.
As for his own time on the water, he enjoyed cruising the waters of Long Island and Fishers Island sounds and heading out to Martha’s Vineyard and Block Island on his Pearson 39.
