Premixed Fuel

Premixed outboard fuel for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines boasts an extended shelf life of five years if unopened. Available in quart or gallon size for high revving performance engines, true fuel from Defender Marine is free of ethanol-free and impurities like butane, benzene, and varnish.

Why buy premixed fuel?

Premixed gas offers users peace of mind with already mixed oil and gas combinations designed for high revving 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. After opening, premixed TruFuel is safe for up to two years. Storage is recommended for up to five years if containers are unopened. Easy pour containers and stabilized fuel, free from impurities are all reasons for purchasing premixed outboard fuel.

Does TruFuel high octane gas help clean the fuel system?

Trufuel 2-stroke and 4-stroke gas is free of contaminants and includes friction modifiers to lubricate engine parts. Detergents prevent deposits, while the high octane helps to clean the fuel system. This premixed fuel doesn't add any bad gunk and it strips away the old gunk!

Can't I buy ethanol-free at the gas station?

Oh yes, ethanol-free gas is available at most gas stations, but it will need to be mixed appropriately prior to use in your outboard. 2-Cycle and 4-cycle premixed fuel offer additives and lubricants that reduce friction between engine parts and eliminate impurities. You don't get all of that at the corner gas station!
