Who can enroll?

  • Defender 1st is open to everyone except commercial accounts, but if you are a commercial account you can open a personal (recreational) account.

How do I enroll?

When does my online account recognize my savings?

  • Once you receive your enrollment confirmation, your online account will recognize the savings immediately. The savings will show on the last checkout page (before you enter your credit card). Within 24 hours of your enrollment, you will see a Defender 1st Member price on every product that is eligible (you’ll need to sign in to see Member prices). Please keep in mind the lower price always prevails, so if a particular item is on sale and is lower than our Defender 1st price, you will get the sale price.

Do I have to be subscribed to the Defender 1st email?

  • No, but if you unsubscribe you won’t see special promotions or exclusive deals just for members.

Can I cancel my membership?

  • Membership is valid for one year from the date of enrollment. There are no cancellations, refunds or prorating if you choose to cancel. Defender will not auto-renew your membership upon expiration. We will give you a 30-day advance notice of your expiration date.

Does it apply to all items?

  • No. Exclusions do apply. If the item is not applicable to a Defender 1st savings, you will see our everyday competitive, or sale price.

Is my membership transferrable?

  • No, your membership is tied to your personal account with Defender.

Can I purchase a membership as a gift?

  • Yes, you can purchase a Defender Gift Certificate good for a membership
