    • Applications: Solid Fiberglass hulls
      • See "Installation Instructions" below
      • Epoxies to aluminum hulls under 3.8 mm (0.125”) thick
      • Recommended for planing-hull power boats, trailered boats, rigid inflatable boats (RIBS), and racing sailboats

      • The unique adjustable-angle design ensures the beam is vertically oriented for maximum echo returns and the best possible performance
      • Because the transducer is mounted inside the hull, it is the perfect solution for rigid inflatable boats (RIBS) and racing sailboats
      • Easy Install
        • Mount the base flange inside the hull
        • Adjust the locking ring for the correct hull deadrise angle
        • Fill the base with non-toxic anti-freeze (propylene glycol)
        • Turn and lock the transducer into the base
    • Airmar Model Number: P79

    • Applications: Furuno GP 1670F and GP1870F
    • Plastic In-Hull Mount for Shoot-Through Hull Applications

    Installation Notes:

    • About Fiberglass Hulls:
      • The fiberglass hull below the transducer must be solid
      • Since the hull absorbs acoustic energy, transmitting through the hull reduces the transducer’s performance
      • Fiberglass hulls are often reinforced in places for added strength or to reduce weight
      • These cored areas contain balsa wood or structural foam which are poor sound conductors
      • Do not locate the transducer over coring
    • CAUTION: Do not mount the transducer near water intake or discharge openings or behind strakes, fittings, or hull irregularities that will disturb the water flow
