Groco SSC-Series Engine Flush Kit

Features:

• Add an Groco SSC Engine Flush Kit to the top of any seacock to allow instant emergency bilge pumping, or to simplify winterization and cooling system flushing
• Intended for installation onto the top of any existing seacock, SSC provides easy access to the cooling system for routine maintenance or for emergency bilge pumping
• Once the seacock is closed, the quick-release plug in the flush kit can be easily removed, enabling the connected engine to function as an emergency high capacity bilge pump, ejecting high bilge water overboard through the cooling system
• An open valve handle prevents accidental removal of the quick-release plug
• The service adapter (included) provides an easy threaded connection for dockside water or adding antifreeze for winterization
• Emergencies: While the connected engine is running, close the seacock and remove the quick release plug
  • Excess bilge water will be pumped overboard by the engine raw water pump
  • The Optional Groco BSA 1500 Bilge Strainer & Adapter Kit (Sold Separately) can be added to pump out remote bilge locations
• Winterization:
  • Close the seacock, remove the quick release plug and insert the Service Adapter (Included)
  • Anti-freeze can be pumped into the cooling system
• System Flushing:
  • Close the seacock and insert the Service Adapter (Included)
  • Dockside water can be used to flush the cooling system with the engine running at idle speed
• Available in Sizes to fit 3/4" - 3" strainers
