402724 Wood Chart Wood Chart Sebago Lake SEBA-D3L

WoodChart's beautiful map of Sebago Lake is a 3-D nautical wood map featuring the deepest and second-largest lake in Maine. It is 316 feet deep at its deepest point and covers about 45 square miles in surface. In 1938, Maine opened Sebago Lake State Park as one of its original five state parks. The area was a recreation center even before this. There are numerous private campgrounds, cottages, and other recreational facilities in the area. It is also a popular fishing destination and home to land-locked salmon, smelt, lake trout, brook trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and northern pike.

Points of interest include: Frye Island, Harmon Beach, Raymond, Richville, South Casco, South Naples, and Steep Falls Wildlife Management Area.

    Features:

    • Chart Location: Sebago Lake, Maine
    • Material: Baltic Birch
    • Dimensions: 24.5" x 31"
    • Ready to hang solid-wood frame with quality acrylic dust cover
    • Intricate detail

Starting with a bathymetric chart (the underwater equivalent of a topographic map), Wood Charts uses laser-cutters to carve the contours into sheets of Baltic birch and glue them together to create a powerful visual depth. They hand stain select layers a blue-green so it's easy to discern land from water, etch major byways into the land, then frame the carving in a custom, solid-wood frame protected with a sheet of durable, ultra-transparent acrylic and ready to hang.
