    Package Includes:

    • Standard Horizon GX1850GPS Transceiver
    • DC Power Cord
    • Mounting Bracket and Hardware
    • Owner's Manual
    • Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Warning Sticker

Get easy plug and play connectivity, DSC calling, GPS, automatic polling of 6 vessels' GPS positions and much more with the NMEA2000 compatible Standard Horizon GX1850GPS Marine VHF/FM transceiver. A single plug-in interface allows connectivity of GPS data and DSC calling between compatible devices.

The GX1850GPS is capable of DSC ITU-R M.493 Class D operation with a 66-channel internal GPS. Class D operation allows continuous reception of Digital Selective Calling functions on channel 70 even while receiving calls on the voice channels.

This unit operates on all currently-allocated marine channels and is switchable for use with International, USA, or Canadian regulations. Emergency channel 16 can be immediately selected from any other channel by pressing the [16/S] key. It can be operated from 11 to 16 Volts DC, and has a switchable RF output power of 1 watt or 25 watts.

Now compatible with Standard Horizon's latest Second Station microphone, RAM4, model SSM-70 (sold separately). All functions on the main radio can be controlled on the Second Station RAM4, including all radio functions, DSC functions, and intercom features between the radio and Second Station.

Access all features quickly with the new, more intuitive, Easy-to-Operate menu system.

Standard Horizon also has made mounting easier. The Explorer Series has an ultra thin, compact rear case, only 3.3" in depth or half the depth of comparable VHF radios on the market. The rear case design also gives flexibility when flush mounting in tight areas or bracket mounting by taking up less dash space.

3-Year Waterproof Warranty: If your Explorer Series radio fails for any reason (including water damage) during normal use for the first 3 years of ownership, Standard Horizon will repair or replace it free, without hassles or charges. If it fails for anytime thereafter in normal use, for as long as the original purchaser owns the radio, Standard Horizon's Lifetime Flat Rate and Customer Loyalty Service Programs will cover it.
