Rated 1 out of 5 by from Instructions were horrible Absolutely horrible instructions. This was a combo steaming and deck light but the instructions were only for half of the light and even that wasn’t accurate. The diagram was more like a blueprint and gave little guidance on how to actually install the light correctly. What should have been a quick “connect the black/white/green wires as shown” was an hours-long trial and error job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Opps! Splash! This won't be a useful review for you. The light arrived in good time and condition, exactly as advertised. While on the mast I got a mild shock, startling me. Splash. By the time I got down, it was gone. I will testify that it floats just fine, too. But once out of sight, I was unable to recover it. So . . . five stars for service?

        Questions

How do you remove the cover for the steaming light to replace the bulb??

        Asked by: SV Ocean Song
Pop off the trim from around the bottom of the steaming light. It separates the deck and steaming light. There are buttons on each side to push in and pull out the trim. Pretty straightforward.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram

        Asked by: Carl
There is no wiring diagram provided for this light, however the masthead and flood are wired separately. This means you would need a positive and a negative into each (there are rubber grommets on the back of the bracket to feed each pair through). If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

I'm looking for a replacement lens for the deck light. Not seeing here at Defender.

        Asked by: texana
If you research the manufacturer of the combo nav/deck light website, it will describe the deck light fixture you need. I believe it will be a complete bulb, not a lens.
