Questions

I have two water tanks The forward tank is higher than the aft tank If I mount a sensor on the forward tank the water in the forward tank will be to the top I’m thinking of putting two sensors in but is it okay to flood one of the sensors?

Asked by: Matt
That shouldn't be a problem, If installed properly the sender makes a watertight seal to the tank. There are no moving parts in the sender. Best practice is to isolate the tanks with valves and open the valve when the primary tank is drained. This helps in the event of leaks, during maintenance or in the event one tank is contaminated.
