B&G introduces the first VHF radio to incorporate full Class B AIS transmit and receive functions so you can see and be seen by other AIS-equipped vessels! This all-in-one unit provides an added level of safety underway, and space-saving convenience for installation options.* View AIS information on the radio's screen, or overlay on your chartplotter. For racers, advanced channel scan and favorite features allow quick access to commonly used channels helpful for race control communication wherew quick responses are crucial.
*Two VHF antennas are needed for V60-B, one for VHF and one for AIS. Alternatively, an NSPL-500 splitter can be used.
Built-in GPS receiver and antenna with connection for optional external GPS antenna.
Removable Fist Mic — The V60-B's removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, and optional extension cables allow the mic and radio to be mounted separately. You can mount the radio overhead, with no hanging cables, while the mic is connected to an extension socket on the dash.
Expandable with Wireless Handsets — Add an optional H60 wireless handset to take your radio anywhere onboard. Each handset duplicates your radio's display and controls, enabling remote access to all key functions. Up to two handsets can be connected, and with multiple handsets connected your radio doubles as an onboard intercom.
Man Overboard (MOB) function — Hold down the NAV/MOB button to drop a waypoint on your current location and the V60-B will enter MOB mode to show how far away you are and where you need to steer to get back to the position of the MOB event. The MOB waypoint is also transmitted over NMEA 2000 to the rest of your network.
Intercom, Fog Horn and Hailer functions — Requires optional Loudhailer horn.
