Spinlock Deckvest VITO Inflatable PFD / Life Jacket

The Spinlock Deck Vest VITO is the latest Spinlock inflatable lifejacket harness technology based on the custom design made for crews in the Volvo Ocean Race. All teams were equipped with the same inflatable lifejacket harness developed in collaboration with a core group of Volvo offshore sailors. Fundamental to the design was a lifejacket that crews actually wanted to wear more frequently, with custom features.

• Buoyancy: 170N with Hammar® hydrostatic automatic inflator
  • Inflation system activated by water pressure — will not inflate until cap is approximately 10cm underwater
  • System designed for use in more extreme conditions and extended offshore sailing
  • Hammar system prevents accidental inflation from extreme rain, sea spray
  • With single indicator to show if armed
  • Delayed inflation can be caused if full immersion of the firing head is delayed by buoyant foul weather clothing
• Structured fit allows easy donning with adjustable buckles
