* Groco TH thru hull fittings will accommodate both ball valve NPT (National Pipe Thread) and seacock NPS (National Pipe Straight Thread) threads. The end of the threaded end has a taper to accommodate a ball valve. If the thru thread is cut to fit a seacock the remaining threads are straight.
Note: Proper seamanship is to fit a seacock but some prefer just a ball valve on the thru hull fitting
