261772 Simrad RS20S VHF Radio with NMEA2000 icon Simrad 000-14491-001
An Easy to Use Radio for Any Vessel:See clearly in bright daylight with a high contrast black-on-white display, and inverted white-on-black night mode. A rotary dial makes channel selection easy, while large buttons provide quick access to other key functions. Dedicated Channel 16 keys, found on both the radio and its fist microphone, offer instant access to the emergency channel. An included gimbal bracket enables simple table-top, overhead, or bulkhead installation. Flush-mount installation is also possible, with an easy mount-from-front solution, to match the low-profile style of our glass bridge displays and accessories.
Class D DSC Approved:DSC, or "Digital Selective Calling", makes it easier to stay in touch with other boaters and enables you to broadcast your boat's location during an emergency. If you find yourself in trouble, the RS20s dedicated "distress" button will initiate a DSC distress call that sends your boat's position to anyone within VHF range. Used together with a traditional radio distress call, this makes it easier for other boaters with DSC-capable radios to register your situation and come to your aid. An integrated GPS receiver means your position can be sent even if your boat's other electronics are powered down.
Easy Access to All International Channels:The RS20S is designed for global use and supports all international channels. With tri-channel watch, easily scan between the current channel, emergency channel 16, and another user-configurable priority channel (in the USA, scan between the current channel, emergency channel 16, and calling channel 9). Alternatively, scan through all available channels or just your selected favorites. Emergency channels can be given priority when scanning to reduce the chance of missing distress calls or other urgent safety messages.

Simrad introduces the first VHF radio to incorporate full Class B AIS transmit and receive functions so you can see and be seen by other AIS-equipped vessels! This all-in-one unit provides an added level of safety underway, and space-saving convenience for installation options.* View AIS information on the radio's screen, or overlay on your chartplotter. For racers, advanced channel scan and favorite features allow quick access to commonly used channels helpful for race control communication where quick responses are crucial.
*Two VHF antennas are needed for RS40-B, one for VHF and one for AIS. Alternatively, an NSPL-500 splitter can be used.
Built-in GPS receiver and antenna with connection for optional external GPS antenna.
Removable Fist Mic — The RS40-B's removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, and optional extension cables allow the mic and radio to be mounted separately. You can mount the radio overhead, with no hanging cables, while the mic is connected to an extension socket on the dash.
Expandable with Wireless Handsets — Add an optional H60 wireless handset to take your radio anywhere onboard. Each handset duplicates your radio's display and controls, enabling remote access to all key functions. Up to two handsets can be connected, and with multiple handsets connected your radio doubles as an onboard intercom.
Man Overboard (MOB) function — Hold down the NAV/MOB button to drop a waypoint on your current location and the RS40-B will enter MOB mode to show how far away you are and where you need to steer to get back to the position of the MOB event. The MOB waypoint is also transmitted over NMEA 2000 to the rest of your network.

A Modular System to Fit Any Boat: The RS90S is a modular VHF system that's expandable and customizable to suit any boat and any on-water communication needs. One wired handset is included, but a single RS90S system can run up to six separate handsets: four wired, and two wireless. Multiple handsets can be used together as a vessel-wide intercom system, keeping crew members in contact wherever they are on board. An external speaker is also included; outputs are provided for up to three additional speakers, and one optional loudhailer/foghorn.
Designed for Clear Communication: This Class D DSC approved radio can send and receive DSC distress signals including position data. An integrated GPS receiver enables your position to be sent with distress calls, even if your boat's other electronics are powered down. The RS90S also supports direct calling to other DSC-equipped radios, making it easier than ever to communicate with other mariners. Dual-channel watch lets you monitor the current channel and emergency channels, and a record-and-replay feature helps to ensure you never miss an important call.
Integrated AIS Receiver: A built-in AIS receiver monitors the position of nearby AIS-equipped vessels, perfect for avoiding collisions in crowded harbors and busy waterways. AIS information can be viewed on a handset or a compatible multifunction display. The RS90S uses the same antenna for both VHF and AIS, simplifying installation and minimizing wiring. AIS data is output over an industry-standard NMEA 2000® connection.
